Water Damage Info:

Additional Information:

Most Common Water Damage issues at Your Property:

Storm Damage and Flash Floods:

Water damage may strike your property due to natural catastrophes such as tornadoes, hail storms, winds and heavy rains can cause harm to your roof, causing rainwater to drain directly into your home or company. Worse, severe weather can sometimes result in flash flooding, particularly if your property is located in a flood-prone zone.

Overflowing Bathtubs, Sinks, and Washing Machines:

You would be surprised to know that at times, people living in multiple story units, forget to turn the water off as they are preparing a bath and it overflows, other times washing machines fail, overflowing. These events cause flooding on the floors where these units are installed and at times they end up leaking from upstairs to the units below. These events end up flooding inside the walls, floors, and damaging drywall and ceiling as well as other home components.

Pipes and Supply Line Leaks:

The pipes on your property carry water throughout, so a leak or puncture can lead to significant damage. A leaking kitchen sink pipe might allow enough water to flow into the cabinet below it, potentially causing damage. A leaking pipe inside the walls may make things worse. A leak like this can cause significant water damage and the formation of a mold colony because the entire wall is affected. Even worse, if there is a leak in your plumbing supply line or drainage pipe in the soil beneath your concrete slab.

Frozen Pipes:

Frozen pipes are a common issue in the colder months that many people encounter. As the temperatures get lower, the water in poorly insulated pipes can freeze. Water expands when it freezes, damaging the water lines, creating leaky pipes, and flooding the house.

Mold services:

We at Cavins Environmental have a top notch team for all of your mold needs. From mold investigation and testing to mold removal and build back, we are your one stop shop for your mold remediation and restoration needs. Our team has completed a wide variety of mold removal projects ranging from sorority houses, national retail chains, multi plex housing, restaurants, banks, and single family dwellings. At Cavins, we follow strict guidelines set by IICRC as well as federal and state agencies. If you have mold on your property it is important to have it removed by a trained and educated firm to make sure that your family, employees, or customers do not get sick during the mold removal process. Mold can cause issues if the spores are made airborne and inhaled by the occupants of the space so, again, it is important to have professionals perform the removal and remediation.
